My experience with Sunation was awesome. The person we dealt with was Cameron and she was amazing. Very patient with us and answered all our questions. The entire process was smooth and the installation happened in a few hours. I would really recommend Sunation to home owners who want to go for solar.
Fantastic experience with SUNation Energy. Was referred by a friend and had great dialogue with our specialist Rob Moser. He walked us through the process, the benefits of solar and what set up makes most sense for us. He also was able to get us great pricing which was almost 10% lower than other estimates. Paperwork and payment was a breeze!
Once the permit was approved (took about 5 weeks after signing the agreement), they came and installed the panels in a few days which was impressive (probably lucked out with availability). The install crew (was literally an army! about 8-9 guys) came promptly at 7:45AM (15 minutes early which was great) and was finished by 1PM. The head of the crew walked me through the process and closed out great showing me the app and next steps. Clean up was also great as nothing was left behind.
Currently we are waiting for the inspection so we can start banking the unused solar for future use. But still we are generating over 45 kWh daily (on a sunny day) and our average usage is about 30 (we have 2 EV’s) so we are about 150% efficiency which is great. Though we can not bank yet, we are still utilizing solar power so our electric bill for the past week will be minimal.
All in all, SUNation Energy is extremely professional, very knowledgeable and customer service seems to be a top priority to them. My neighbor and inlaws are now interested in solar and will be referring them to SUNation and Rob Moser – they also have very nice cash incentives for referrals!!!

Very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous team. Walked me through the whole project from design to completion.
I had visited office prior to design phase and staff showed me materials to be used and installation examples. All the employees appear to love what they do.
They had my complex roof replaced in less than a day.
Solar was installed two days later. 29 panels with no visible conduit. (Looks like I have wireless panels. LOL!!) A nice and neat job. John B. and his team. WOW!!! AMAZING!!!

From my initial contact with Rohan to the approval process and finally to installation managed by Mike, SUNation was professional, courteous, competitive, accommodating, timely, clean, and respectful. They fixed my problem and were very professional. I should have used Sunation for my install, but I did not know them until recently. However, I would recommend them to anyone in the market.
I had a system that was leased by SunNation for the last 7 years and the system was down for over an entire year. They kept taking my monthly payment because it was automatic out of my account every month and I had a $300 electrical bill on average that year on top of my $250 solar lease payment that goes up every year. Sabastion who handles their service department claims he’s waiting weeks for parts they have been to my house about 15 times and nothing ever get resolved I contacted my attorney and starting the lawsuit . STAY AWAY They don’t care about there long term customers

It is easy to see why Sunation is the top solar company on Long Island. Leading up to the install day, their team kept me updated from the project design stage to permit approval. John B. and his crew did a wonderful job with the installation. All the work was done in a clean and professional manner. We installed solar panels 4 years ago and decided on Sunation after a fairly detailed review comparing them with other companies. The experience then was very positive, so when we sold that home and moved to another home we were sure to have them be the company to install panels on our new home. We were a bit concerned with the appearance as we now live in a ranch style home and the panels needed to be installed on the front of the house. The 6 gentlemen that came to do the install were detailed, neat, professional and explained the entire process to us. John B. was the lead on this project and he was very knowledgeable and open with us. A very nice thing about this crew was that this crew was that they truly seemed to enjoy their job, joking with each other yet making a clean and neat work site and finished product. They did the 32 panel install and were finished about 3pm and went through a check list with us to ensure our satisfaction. We are very happy with Sunation and already have recommended them to our friends. We hope this to be our last home but should the need ever arise for another solar installation we are certain it will be performed by Sunation.
