They have installed over 120,000 solar panels in Oklahoma. They have two owners who are from Oklahoma and have lived in Oklahoma all their lives.

History: The company was started in 2017 by founders Kevin Jones and J.W. Peters with the goal of helping Oklahomans cut costs on their monthly electric bills. They started the company installing solar on hot Oklahoma roofs with a crew of five people. Today, they have more than 65 employees in OKC & Tulsa and more than 120,000 solar panels installed in Oklahoma.

Mission Statement: The mission of Solar Power of Oklahoma is to save Oklahomans money on their electric bills. They saw a need and knew solar could be the answer to high electric bills across the state, and that’s still their goal today.
