Received my system in January. I am so so happy I went with this company! My rep Anthony Morales, was available constantly for all my questions. The team installed the battery and system without any issues. They contacted me on one incident when my panels weren’t fully charging and sent someone out to reboot it. I have an app to monitor my daily power production and use. I am cranking my air this summer with little to no charges. I am very happy. I got estimates from other companies but I never received attention or responses like with Solar Optimum. I highly recommend them 👍

I had a lot of options with Solar companies these days, but since my brother used Solar Optum and so I decided to give them a call. My sales agent Pariz Rivera was very knowledgeable and made me feel at ease. The installation was very professional and i have received excellent customer service. The overall process was very smooth and the price was very competitive to other Solar companies.

In the past month, I asked three companies to bid on a solar system for my house. My average usage is about 22 kwh / day, which includes an EV car. Quotes included both solar only and solar + battery. I avoided the big names like T**** and Sun***, both had very poor reviews.

Based on the recommendation of a neighbor I put a lot of trust in, Solar Optimum was one of the three I asked to bid. They came back about $5,000 less than two other local companies, who also had very good reviews. My system is 17 panels + 10 kwh Enphase battery.

Solar Optimum has been great to work with. My rep, Brandon, has been very friendly and responsive to my emails (and everyone I’ve interacted with there). The only exception was that they ended up needing to install the battery inside the garage with a heat sensor (due to local code), so the quote went up $1,000 – still well under the others.

Installation was scheduled at my convenience. Five guys showed up the scheduled morning – 3 for installing solar panels and 2 for electrical work. Panels and battery were delivered in the morning, and the whole installation in one day! The crew was professional, no issues that day. Three days later, the city inspector along with their representative checked it out and powered it up – all was up & running. I was charging my car that day!

Its been a very positive experience, the biggest hiccup was a battery for the heat sensor beeping away, solved in 5 minutes.

I strongly recommend Solar Optimum, they were great to work with on the proposed plans, answering my questions along the way and installation went without a hitch.

Independent of any solar provider, you should know that projected winter power is < 1/3 of summer power generation. They estimated my July production at 38.5 kwh / day, On July 22 total power was 42.5 kwh (~10% better – nice!). Jan/Dec is estimated at ~10 kwh / day. Again, this would be the same for any provider, it’s a function of how solar panels / sun position / daylights hours all interact to produce power. Understanding how much your monthly power company bill is reduced becomes complicated. They project ~ 85% reduction in my electric bills over the year.

Solar Optimum initially said our color choice wouldn’t be available for 6 weeks or more, but after we said we’d wait, they were able to find supplies of the product we wanted within a week. They ended up providing us with a fabulous new, reflective roof. Carlos, the project supervisor, Juan, the work supervisor, and Juan and Jose, the men who removed the old roof and placed the new one, were all great to work with, and the work itself was impeccable. They did an excellent clean-up job after the roof was completed. They were very responsive to our questions. They worked seamlessly with the city inspectors.

7 months after Solar Optimum installed solar panels on house roof, everything is working fine as intended, nothing wrong with the system that they have installed.

For the first 6 months, we got credits for the electricity that we did not use. Now we are in hot summer of July and next month is August, we will see what the electric bill will look like for these 2 summer months in which we used a lot of electricity for the AC.

So far everything is great, and working just fine without interruption.

I had compared the installation cost from 3 solar companies and Solar Optimum is cheaper than 2 other companies.

My Sales rep Mike Was very easy to work with and laid out the pricing very clearly. I actually wanted more than they initially proposed so they don’t oversell you on panels. I just got my solar turned on by them and it’s been great so far. They were fast and very communicative during the new roofing and solar install. Would recommend them to anyone for both solar and roof repairs.

The full team was very professional and amazing. But I have to mention two persons that were outstanding.

For starters I was misled by the salesman at the beginning I’ve had equipment breakdowns I’ve had to pay because of the equipment breakdowns. They told me I was going to get compensated but I have not received anything
