(NC SOLAR GAVE ME BACK $374.50 ) My new house had solar. It was paid off. What more could I ask for The transfer of ownership was new to me. I paid NC solar $374.50. $50.00 of that was for the transfer. Duke Energy was changing their policy, around the time I got my house. Now the home owner must transfer the ownership. I got caught up in the middle. So for a couple of months, I was not getting the credit for the solar. After they found out what happen NC Solar gave me a check for the whole amount I paid them $374.50.

So for I can see that I generating more power that I am using. The person I got the house from had no electric bill . I am looking forward to that. I have found NC Solar to have good people that have a lot of patience and will listen to you. It was a mix up that they made good on. I think solar is great. Also NC Solar will stand by what they say. I am looking forward to many years with them worry free.

NC Solar Now did a fantastic job with my new solar system. Their proposal was not the cheapest, but I am pretty sure that we got the most bang for the buck. From first discussions on our needs to the final inspection everything went perfectly and on schedule. It was a complete turnkey job. They evaluated our home and requirements, inspected the home to make sure the design was correct; sent us design submittals and information; pre-scheduled all tradesmen to be onsite. Workers all showed up on time and worked quickly with no unnecessary interruptions. For every question that I had, they responded almost instantly by text or email. In my career, I worked as a construction manager for several years and I have never worked with a better contractor. We are now about two months post completion. The system is producing as promised and designed and my electric bill has gone to nearly nothing. Tesla Powerwall 3 batteries are performing marvelously. I highly recommend NC Solar Now for their professionalism in every aspect of the work.

Easy to work with, did not feel I was being pressured to buy more panels than I wanted. Installation was clean and overall very happy with the experience.

The sales person did a great job and did not pressure us. They answered all of our questions. I took quotes from 3 companies and they were the middle. I chose them because I did the best job answering questions and they seem to have the best product available. Installation went really well and I’ve even had an issue with one of the inverters since we had it installed and they quickly came out and replaced it under warranty. Would definitely recommend them to anybody looking for solar panels. We have had ours for 2 years and they are performing well and it’s nice to get a much lower electric bill.

The experience has been excellent from initial consultation to work completion, city inspection and post installation follow up. They also were competitive in pricing.

Staff is very friendly and supportive allowing me to clarify all questions related to the options for the installation and as well support to get the EV credit from Duke Energy.

They were provided as an option from ‘Find it Duke’ which gave me more assurance in terms of quality of work, but also they are a Tesla certified technicians, which drove my decision to move with them.

They kept and left the work area super clean.

Working with NC Solar Now was a pleasure. They worked with us to ensure that the array designed would accommodate our whole house including our two electric vehicles. Additionally the workflow they have set up where various team members guide you through different aspects of the process worked very well and made sure that all of the disparate steps were accomplished well within the timeline they laid out. Other than some inspection issue delays, NC Solar was great to work with. I have a 30 solar panel system on the roof of my out-building. The first two months the power generated has exceeded the speculated amount. This has been with consistent rainfall and moderate cloud cover. I am excited about my solar! Thanks NC Solar!

When asking for several quotes I found one or two that were cheaper, but most were more expensive. I chose NC Solar Now because they don’t outsource any work overseas and use American made products every chance they get. It was important that I went with the security of a local and trusted company that has a great reputation for supporting its customers, something they have done for almost 15 years.

My system has been up and running since December 2023 and I’ve already produced more kWh than I’ve consumed in two of the four full billing cycles with I’ve had it for so far. My only charges for those months were Duke’s standard fee for being connected to the grid, which they keep constant regardless of solar offset. Still, $16 a month is a sweet deal.

We worked with NC Solar Now on our solar project last year. It took us a few years of investigating & saving before we were ready to commit to the project. One thing that set NC Solar Now apart was the consultative selling process – no pressure, good discussion, and then check back in a year. Others were high pressure, fast talk, and when we finally did the finance comparisons far more expensive. Once we committed – the project was exceptionally smooth. They have a very well planned, step-wise process and from Day 1 we knew exactly what was happening and when. It was a concierge level service from permitting to the install process. While a big purchase, was far less stressful than other home improvement projects. NC Solar Now was great to deal with on the installation of our EV charger. We went through the Duke Energy approval process and it led to sending inquiries to 3 firms. NC Solar Now was responsive, prompt and easy to deal with! The installer was a great guy. They walked me through the rebate process, got the City of Raleigh inspection to me- I got my check in the mail yesterday! NC Solar Now is the BEST!!
