3. “These folks know what they are doing! I originally got a quote from Sunrun through Costco, because I figured no company could beat one that’s backed by Costco. But still, for a purchase this large I knew I should get at least a second quote, so I did so with Sol-Up. The comparison? Sol-Up’s quote was slightly cheaper (~5%, which is significant on a $25k purchase) than Sunrun for a demonstrably better product: the panels Sol-Up uses are extremely highly rated in the industry, while Sunrun’s seem to be average.”

1. “Scam. They are suing me for $17,000 not doing any work just for me signing the contract and getting free permits from HOA. My HOA requiring me to be responsible for not only repair but maintenance going forward for the roof of all 8 attached units not only mine and additional extensive insurance coverage. Solup lied to me that HOA can not do anything and will never be an issue. I would have never signed the contract if I knew it was a scam. Never sent me a bill for work performed, hours, material. Never performed any work or improved property. I gave them my correct address and they kept sending mail to the property where I do not live and harassing my tenants.”

He was fully prepared with a quote and layout of all the panels on the roof, calculations about the number of panels that we would need to cover our electricity needs, based on Nevada Energy bills. Every time they said they were going to be here, they were prompt and efficient. All of the necessary paperwork was emailed to us, and we were kept up to date on each phase of the project. Now all we need is for Nevada Energy to show up and do the inspection so we can fire up the system. Good Job!”
