The sales person Christian sold us an idea we will save money. I have a 300 dollar electricity bill plus the panels $233.00 almost 600 dollars and now he won’t answer and no one at the lonestar solar services won’t help us . Sunnova keep saying we need more panels but lonestar won’t add . They keep saying is hot that’s why we paying so much money. I never thought this experience will turn the way it did. No one cares and now I’m struggling to pay both bills .

Needed the generator installed, these guys did it on a 1 hour notice period. Amazing team, amazing leadership. Would highly recommend them for any energy needs!

Very nice to work With Aaron is very knowledgeable and he’s quick to return a call when I had questions. Overall, great experience recommend highly. Having our own 5 star company, nice to do business with other reputable companies.

We were sold on soar panels by Lone Star Solar because their representative said we’d have a credit every month for our electric bill. We were told we’d generate and sell back enough to eliminate our electric bill. This was a lie! Not only do we pay $134.19 a month for our panels we don’t have enough panels to generate enough power to sell to our electricity biller every month. Only the first month did I have a credit on my electric bill. This month alone I had to pay $72 to Gexa and $134.19 to Everbright.

Had I stayed with just paying for electricity to our original electricity biller, Reliant Energy my bill would have been only.$155 total for this month!

Our neighbors and friends are waiting to hear if going solar helped us at all. So far I don’t think I can say its helped at all! As a matter of fact its costing me money!

Very disappointed. They completed an inspection and assured me that roof was good. My roof is leaking like a sieve and now it will cost me double. I need a new roof and was given an 12k quote on removing and reinstalling so I can get a new roof. A new roof does not cost that much. Buyer beware!!!

Very pleased with the work done at home. Showed up the day and time it was scheduled. After they where done, they explained everything in detail of the installation.

Gloria, John, and Lance have excellent communication skills and find the answers to all my questions quickly or at a reasonable time. Of the 5 solar company coming to my house with me dismissing them in minutes, this company is the only one that have really caught my interest, then they caught my attention. You can tell they do their job with passion and don’t seem like the type to just make a sale and screw over the customer. Great job! 👍

The lonestar sales person promised me a soft water system and $1000 which I never got. After my panels were installed the sales person did not answer my calls or text. I called Lonestar and they said that was something the salesperson promised not them. Make sure if they promise you something you get it in writing.

Update 05.24.24

The issue with the leaking roof is still ongoing and was told it was a hard area to get to. Why would you put panels on a hard area to get to in the attic if you know they sometimes leak.?? The repair to the ceiling was painted a different color and was called in about and no one has come to fix it. We are still receiving a bill for electricity and paying the monthly charge for solar. We were told that more panels will be added, and trees trimmed this has not happened. This was because you looked at our bill wrong and did not do enough panels in the first install.

you call wanting me to take down the google review but why would I if you have not done what you say you will do. I will take down review when all issues are addressed.

This company has been nothing but a headache. It has been 4 weeks since the last review done by my wife about the leak in the roof that has been so called repaired, but the damage has not been fixed and the roof is still leaking. We never were contacted by a technician for a walkthrough of the system and still not sure if the solar panels are working properly. We are paying $200 for the solar and a regular electric bill still to this day. I have been out more money with the solar panels than I was before even getting them. This company has been nothing of what they said they were. I need someone from this company to reach out to me or I will do everything in my power to make sure you do not do this to another family working hard to provide for their family. This company has lied and tricked us and once we took the bait, we were left to figure it out on our own.

I wished my service was as good as the reviews listed. I was taken care of until the panels were installed. I am paying a normal electric bill on top of the solar payments. My roof is leaking for the second time and was told once I receive a form in 24-48hours and pay a deposit of $150-$20O they will send someone to look at it. Mind you they did an inspection before installing in November 2023 to make sure nothing was damaged or leaking prior. I was told by the sales person that they are not producing because of the cold weather. Lonestar has not been what the reviews reflect for me. Just proceed with caution if you are looking into solar, this may not be the company for you.

I’m all about supporting local businesses, and Lone Star Solar Services didn’t disappoint. The team was personable, the service top-notch, and the experience? Well, it was like having a group of friends helping you out. There was a small issue with the initial quote, but they corrected it promptly, no fuss. Now, I’m basking in the glow of my solar panels and the satisfaction of a choice well made. Way to go, Lone Star!
