Do not use this scam of a company. Company has taken over 16k from me and I can’t anyone to help me at the company for the past month. Initial design was not approved by electric company and then they went silent and will not provide me with I updated quote for smaller system. My sales rep is out due to personal reasons and for some reason the useless fraud vp won’t ever call me despite numerous calls to their 800 number. Everytime for past few weeks they said he will follow up but nothing. Now I just want a refund from this sham of a company but nothing.

For background I have waited over a year since our installation to write this review but finally am taking the time to warn other potential customers. Firstly the original production quote was well off the mark causing us to need 5 additional panels (at our cost of course) once the engineers reviewed – don’t trust the sales person. Secondly it took FOREVER to get the installation – we signed in April 2022 the work was barely completed by the end of the year. Thirdly our one year estimate WITH THE ADDITIONAL PANELS was still a few THOUSAND kWh below the engineer estimate. Fourthly we had a malfunctioning panel that was not producing, it took a few months to get the inverter replaced. And finally we still after 16 months have not received a single SREC due to the process of how to register not being clear and following directions that are incomplete. I wouldn’t recommend solar energy world even for the referral bonus. Go Solar yes, choose someone else.

I am excited to announce that I am now part of the solar family and the whole credit goes to Solar Energy World. Right from the first touch base with their lead sales/field advisor (Dillan Straabe) where he provided a splendid walkthrough of the entire process, completely transparent, knowledgeable and resourceful to working with all their other key team members including Inspection Supervisor, Service Coordinator, Operations Support, Install Compliance, Project Manager, Installation Coordinator of Solar Energy World looked like just a cake walk. In this entire process, they were always reachable, responsive and ready to help or clarify any questions I had. I would highly recommend this amazing team and company for Solar installation.

Going solar was a wise decision, and Solar Energy World made the process smooth. John guided me through the options, and Elias and his crew completed a flawless installation, even in bad weather. Solar Energy World is the team to make it happen if you’re considering solar.

After alot of research Solar World Energy had the most to offer with no hidden small print . “Let the Sun Shine In”…Five star experience with Steve Fulginiti and Solar Energy World.

We live in Reading, PA and were skeptical of a Maryland-based company being able to give us what we wanted and needed in solar. We did years of online research on pros/cons of roof and ground mount installations, and the cost/benefit analysis of return on investment and energy credits system. We knew exactly what we wanted – a ground mount system, capable of capturing our year round full sun exposure and generating ample energy to power our large 7,000 sqft home and electric vehicles. Steve Fulginiti met with us via Zoom and advised that Solar Energy World would deliver the system we needed, manage the negotiations and permitting with the township and power company and install the system so that we realized savings on Day 1 – all for a very affordable price.

Four (4) months after signing the contract our 36-panel, 12.78 kW a year ground-mount solar panel system was installed and six (6) months for contract signature we received an inspection and the green light from our power company to turn on the system February 2, 2024.

In just the first month of use (February 2024) in one of the lowest sunlight months of the year in Southeastern Pennsylvania our electric bill dropped from $175 to $10! As I write this review March 23, 2024 we continue to experience electric bills $10 and less for our considerably large home with electric-draining cars, appliances and gadgets galore. We look forward to continued monthly energy savings, generating Pennsylvania Solar Renewable Energy Credits (SRECS) and realizing the return on investment (ROI) time period. Oh, and doing our part to use renewable energy and preserve Mother Earth feels great too!!

Wasn’t going to write a review yet since I don’t have my new meter to turn on our system, but the installers bent our rain gutter which is only 2 years old, and broke a ceiling light in our garage, and never said a word to us. UPDATE two months and still not fixed, the lack of communication is mind blowing, and now my mother board in my Generac switch box is blown exactly where solar energy hooked to it, and for them to say it wasn’t their system that did it WITHOUT even coming to look at it, this should really tell all future customers to runaway, their customer service proves they could care less, This is the worst I have ever been treated
