Todd and Jimmy were passing by me with my work vehicle stuck. You can tell people who are good natured and just honest by these actions. It was the end of the day and I’m sure they were on the way home just like I was. They stopped and were extremely kind and helped me out. If they are willing to go out of their way for someone who isn’t a customer, I’m certain they have the values to serve their customers with the same heart. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart. Good recognizes good.

If you live in Florida do not put panels on your home, it will result in the possible cancelations of home owners policy and a substantial increase in premiums . My coverage was dropped and my new carrier is charging me 50% more…Salesman never said a word about this potential .. loss of coverage or increased premiums… these guys are conmen.. dont take the bait. thought i was doing some positive for the environment, but alas no good deed goes unpunished. If it would let me do ‘0’stars i would have!

I had 3 different estimates from solar companies last spring and decided to go with PES Solar because of the nice reviews that people shared about their experience with PES.

They did a pretty good job of installing but had to come back because a circuit breaker kept tripping. They replaced the breaker and the panels worked throughout the Summer very well.

The day Ian hit, the units stopped reporting and showed an error message. I was out of state until late October and I called and emailed Chris Keller who sold the job to us. After a week of trying to get in touch with PES, Chris finally called back and said he would send a tech over ASAP to check on the system.

Well lo and behold, we never got a visit from a tech and I got a bill for the month of October from FPL for $179!

I kept trying to get in touch with someone from PES about this issue and finally one of there tech’s called me and walked me through the process of checking the system.

As it turns out there were 2 circuit breakers that were tripped and I reset them. The system started producing energy again!

They then explained to me that 2 of our inverters were not working and needed to be replaced. They said they would have a tech over on 11/14/22 to replace them.

Here it is 2 days later and still no tech and nobody at PES is returning my calls!

Also, the rep from PES told me to send the bill for $179 to them and they would let me know if they would pay it, since they never sent out a tech when I was gone in October. It’s been 2 weeks and I still don’t have a response from PES.

My suggestion if you’re looking to install Solar, use another company!

PES ended up paying for my month bill where the solar panels were not working. Since then the equipment has worked as advertised.

I have a micro inverter that has failed. My system is only one year old. Enphase sent the replacement part to PES Solar nearly a month ago. I have called several times inquiring about getting the new part installed. They have only given me excuses and the runaround why they just don’t have time to come to my house and replace the part. The failed panel is costing me money now going on five months. I am happy with the setup but very disappointed in the service after the sale. At this point in time I do not recommend using PES Solar

PES Solar came with all the right information to make an informed decision. I have had the system now since May, we went live in Jun and I have seen the monthly bill headed to Zero. The communication, installation, and follow-up were outstanding. I will recommend them to those that are looking for all the right stuff. They showed me the savings, The monitoring by them, the monthly reports, and the app to see for yourself make this a worry-free setup. Can they set an appointment just for a consultation, you will like the professional explanation given for any and all questions you need an answer to prior to deciding if this is right for you. The power companies will continue to increase your cost by maybe 5 to 7 % every year. Do yourself a favor and get it before any government programs or changed or removed.

Excellent customer service and knowledge of the process. Our family enjoyed every step of the way. We were extremely happy with the outcome and was so excited to go solar. The stipulation was that only clamps would be used on the standing seam metal roof and no penetration would occur. They provided a quote with the clamps included and I paid 30% of the quote for them to proceed. PES solar proceeded to install the system with clamps in September of 2022. After the system was installed The contract states that 60% would be paid during installation but they decided not to charge me at that time. That is when I found out that they did not follow the permit. At that point my roof was compromised by the installation process so they could not take the system off and I could not use the system because the city would not sign off on the permit. Weeks became months and almost a year and a half later, countless phone calls and more equipment added to the roof the system was cleared by the city. Through their negligence I was in limbo over a year, losing thousands of dollars in electricity cost and never knowing if the system would ever be turned on. It is now Jan 15th 2024 and the system has yet to be turned on. I have paid in full but they are waiting for their accounting department to clear it. They will not tell me how long it will take. I want to make sure as many future solar customers know what I went through. I know most of the reviews are positive but if I had to do it again I would stay far away from PES Solar.”
