Do not use this scam of a company. Company has taken over 16k from me and I can’t anyone to help me at the company for the past month. Initial design was not approved by electric company and then they went silent and will not provide me with I updated quote for smaller system. My sales rep is out due to personal reasons and for some reason the useless fraud vp won’t ever call me despite numerous calls to their 800 number. Everytime for past few weeks they said he will follow up but nothing. Now I just want a refund from this sham of a company but nothing.

For background I have waited over a year since our installation to write this review but finally am taking the time to warn other potential customers. Firstly the original production quote was well off the mark causing us to need 5 additional panels (at our cost of course) once the engineers reviewed – don’t trust the sales person. Secondly it took FOREVER to get the installation – we signed in April 2022 the work was barely completed by the end of the year. Thirdly our one year estimate WITH THE ADDITIONAL PANELS was still a few THOUSAND kWh below the engineer estimate. Fourthly we had a malfunctioning panel that was not producing, it took a few months to get the inverter replaced. And finally we still after 16 months have not received a single SREC due to the process of how to register not being clear and following directions that are incomplete. I wouldn’t recommend solar energy world even for the referral bonus. Go Solar yes, choose someone else.

“I do t know if it’s solar energy world or sun run but we are paying for the panels and have been getting $170 electric bills every month. Not saving us anything. I’ve called and no one cares.”

“We have had the worse time getting any response from our agent. Spent over $100k on panels and need repairs. We have not received any response or reply only the run around. Highly disappointed and continuing to receive an electricity bill as thou we don’t have energy panels!!”

“There was nothing exceptional with the service or installation. They had initially erected the ground array, which looked nice, but were required to lower it per county inspector, resulting in a sloppy looking ground array. I had to complain about their workmanship – the installer attempted to use duck tape on a beam endcap. I didn’t pay 60k for duck tape. They remediated the duck tape. Then the ceiling in the master bed room began leaking. After tearing the ceiling apart to find the source of the leak, I found excess holes we’re drilled near the roof array mount that weren’t patched. They remediated the roof leak.

The solar monitoring app seemed to take forever to update. Turns out they default to using the GSM module in the inverters which only send data every four hours. Why would a paying customer wait 4 hours to see what the hell the system is producing? After some research, running Ethernet cables from my network switch to the inverters resulted in updates every 15 minutes.”
